Unusual and absorbing, this book has the feel of an intricate and double-layered jigsaw puzzle. Next follows an immersively slow reveal, across four decades and multiple continents, spear-headed by our sleuths, of a life-story spinning through a total of four nuptials, each of which ends suddenly and violently, in tragedy. Is Anastasia Rodriguez yet another avenging or capricious Black Widow, leaving a trail of artfully murdered mates?
